I'm laying here with my 11 month old sleeping soundly against my chest like he did when he was a tiny baby. He's half the length of me now, and double what he was then. It is just incredible to think my baby is almost 1! He's walking, and talking and copying everything I do. I find him hilarious most of the time, and I just love to watch him discover knew things and learn his independence.
'Amen' I say to Taylor as we finish our prayers at night and he replies 'me' or men.' When he falls asleep I stare at him for awhile and just think to myself how happy and thankful I am. In a few weeks we'll be celebrating his 1st birthday. He won't exactly remember it, but I'll be sure to take lots of photos so one day he can look back and realize how special he was and always will be. I think as he gets older we'll invest more in experiences than throwing a party every year. I'll have a post up for his 1st birthday though I cant do nearly as much from my iphone, I will try my best to capture everything. ✖️
