I'm in the bathroom washing my face before my adventure to McDonald's for an iced coffee and Quentin comes up behind me and while adoring his self he says "Look at me, I'm soo cute"
"I know . . . I stare at you every night while you sleep O_O"
LoL . . . I honestly do, he's like a sleeping baby and I just can't keep my eyes off of him. Anyways, my flight back to Inuvik is booked for Wednesday and that makes me terribly sad. Three weeks went by way too fast . . . So tomorrow I'm going to change my ticket until the end of the month. Although I'll have to pay a $300 difference considering I booked my flight during a seat sale, but that's fine with me. I really want to spend as much time as I can with Quentin considering he won't be there for a lot of the pregnancy and it honestly scares me to be alone during this time.
I know I said I had given up caffeine completely when I found out I was pregnant in my last post. I've done a lot of research on the affects of caffeine during pregnancy and it was recommended to cut down my intake of caffeine to 250 mg to prevent a miscarriage and other complications. And because I was so paranoid of not being healthy I just quit drinking anything that contained caffeine completely. Now that I am in my second trimester my chances of miscarriage have dropped immensely so I don't think an Iced coffee every once in a while would hurt me or my baby. So yeah, I'm just going to sit here and enjoy my iced coffee lol
I am 17 weeks and 2 days! My baby is apparently the size of a turnip and measures 5 inches long and weighs about 5 ounces. I am experiencing all of the little things of pregnancy like feeling congested, nosebleeds, frequent trips to the bathroom, headaches, quickening (fetal movement), slower digestion, skin changes, slight weight gain, and of course my boobs have gotten bigger lol. And a lot of these things people don't tell you about, right? It just comes with pregnancy, so deal with it . . . Hmm, well you've heard it here, and there's no sugar coating it :) There's nothing to complain about when it comes to bigger boobs except having to buy new bras which don't come cheap . . . I was completely happy being a DD . . . to add another D is just ridiculous -_-
Well, this is my third blog of January. I promise to add more photos and be a little bit more personal once I get my Sony Cybershot DSC wx300 (a major update from the camera I already own which is the DSC H20) . . . I requested it for my birthday, but I don't think I'll be able to wait that long! Anyways, soo long blog readers, I'm going to finish the rest of my iced coffee and watch The Big Bang Theory . . .
