- Take One -
This is a little part on my blog where I will be writing about the randomness of my day, the weird little ideas I conjure up in my brain, and all of the little things I feel the need to discuss, because quite frankly I'm going a little stir crazy and I can only have the same conversations with myself so many times, haha.
Truthfully, I don't have the most interesting life . . . The most interesting thing I accomplished today was eating a whole pizza by myself. I have no regrets. My day started out . . . well I don't know when my day started actually because I wake up multiple times during the day/night. Let's say 12am (Midnight) as of yesterday, haha. It began cooling down after a HOT and most uncomfortable day of cleaning, feeding, changing and burping. I was packing and getting things ready for myself and Taylor to go spend the night with his Daddy at his moms. It took me 3 whole hours to pack the diaper bag, my overnight bag, and all of the pumping equipment. In between that time I was getting myself and Taylor showered/bathed and ready, and by the end of it all I realized I was too exhausted to go anyways. What a disappointment -_- Instead, we enjoyed the cool breeze throughout my house, a few naps here and there, and an episode or two of Keeping up with the Kardashians.
By 10 am, Taylor and I set out on the biggest adventure we had ever taken part on in his whole existence . . . a walk to Corner Store. Yes, the climax of my day was a measly 50 step walk to the Store that's literally just around the Corner, haha. I would have just gone by myself, but I didn't have anyone here to watch Taylor, so I bundled him up and carried him to the store. (We don't have a stroller or a carrier yet.) When we got back, I set him down on my bed, stretched out my left arm cramp, and undressed him . . . That's when I decided to cook the pizza. It was another hot July day, but we made it through. The thunder is now setting in, hopefully along with some rain and lightning. I always loved the smell and sound of rain ever since I was a kid. Rainy weather meant for even more fun outside. I'm sure Taylor will feel the same . . . |
- Blogging -
Since Taylors been born, I really wanted to start blogging again. During the last bit of my pregnancy, I was going through a lot emotionally, and just wasn't in the mood to blog. Though, I did try . . . I just couldn't find a way to say things. Blogging keeps me distracted, it gives me something to look forward to doing during the day, and keeps me motivated to capture every moment of motherhood. I hope that someday Taylor would be able to read his Mommy's blog and know that from the beginning he changed my life for the better.
