New Pages -
There have been a lot of changes to my blog this past week. I've added an 'About' page, a 'Resources' page, and a 'Contact' page. I've included just some general information about myself in the 'About' page, and I have plans for that page once my camera gets here and I can get more personal with my blog. The resource page is a page itself but includes a drop down menu with sub pages. The resource page includes information on how you can get started with your own blog and what it takes to be a good blogger. I am also going to be posting tutorials and other useful things for bloggers to use for their own blogs. The sub pages include 'Paint Shop Pro' and 'HTML.' The 'Paint Shop Pro' page will offer tutorials on the program and other things like brushes and stock photos. The HTML page provides you with general knowledge of HTML and how to use it. Finally, the 'Contact' page is a simple page of where and how you can contact me. It includes a simple form for you to fill out immediately if you have questions or need help with something.
Changes to the homepage -
I've added a really useful widget by ENGAGEYA that allows my readers to see other posts in my blog. This widget is located at the end of every blog post so that when the reader is finished reading each post they have an option to read another. It drives more readers to my website and it helps my readers to navigate freely through my blog. A similar widget to this one would be the LINKWITHIN widget used widely by a lot of Blogspot users.
Blogging Success!
Yesterday was one of my most successful blogging days. I received 500+ page views! Altogether I have a total of 5300+ page views. The views on my homepage are a bit less but only because the counter was installed on my blog a bit later. I'm still just as happy with 4000. At this rate, I've calculated by the end of the year I should reach 63,000+ views, and that's enough motivation to keep blogging :) So keep reading! You make this well worth it, and I am so happy that I found something I love doing . . .
